Kurla is not only one of the major suburb of Mumbai and forms one
of the busiest railway station of Mumbai Suburban railway on the
central and harbour railway lines of Mumbai.Kurla was made Bombay
limits were expanded in 1918. A new railway line was set up
connecting Kurla to Chembur and then later on extended to Mankhurd.
