It is said that imitation is the highest form of adulation. Taking
inspiration from Balaji temple at Tirupati, artists have made an
effort to built temple on the lines of great Venkateshwara temple at
Tirupati. The temple at Nerul is the outcome of the respect that
Balaji commands in India. Balaji Temple at Nerul, stands as an exact
replica of the Balaji temple at Tirupati. The construction of the
temple has been done on the principles of Shipshastras- an ancient
architectural science of India.
Based on this science the main temple is surrounded by various
other small temples. At Nerul one can find main temple surrounded by
temples like Vidya Ganapati temple, hanumana temple, Ramanuja
temple, etc.

Mantapam. The hall houses images of two doorkeepers-Jaya and Vijaya
, who guard the sanctum sanctorum. The structure of the Mani
Mantapam is of Cement Concrete following modern architectural
practices and is meant for hoisting various temple and religious
activities.
The cement
