Igatpuri
Location:
138 km. North East of Mumbai, located at a height of 2,000ft above
sea level.
About:
Igatpuri has been considered as a Railway Junction in most minds.
But Igatpuri has all the trappings of a convincing weekend escape
from Mumbai. It is cooler round the year and guarded by tall green
hills. The best time to visit is June-February. It is lush during
October. During monsoons, the place gives a picturesque views with
greenery all around and hills hiding their heads behind the mist. It
is has a huge and breathtaking canvas to grab the attention of many.
You can have two choices to spend your time here. Either you can do
nothing and have a message, swim and eat. Or, you can go down the
valley and explore unnamed waterfalls and green lands!
