Mumbai Sightseeing
DAY ONE:
Arrive Bombay: Meeting and assistance on arrival at International
airport by our representative and transfer to hotel. Room reserved
from 1200 noon.
DAY TWO:
Bombay: Morning half day excursion to Elephanta Caves. 9 Kms by sea
from Gateway of India. A ferry ride across the harbour takes you to
Gharapuri - the local name for Elephanta. The famed caves lie about
two thirds up the higher of the two hills. The island was named by
the Portugese after a great stone elephant was found when they
landed there in 16th Century. The elephant now rests at the entrance
of the Victoria Gardens in Mumbai.
DAY THREE:
Morning a half day city tour of the bustling Industrial capital of
India, Mumbai (Bombay). Later transfer to Domestic airport to
connect for your onward flight.
